A lot of good stuff in this podcast! What stood out for me was the simple advice to just go out and do it! Obviously you have to have some kind of preparation done ahead of time, but being tentative never helped anybody. If I had waited till I was ready and all the t’s were crossed and the i’s dotted, I would probably have absolutely nothing to show for it and still have no webcomic ready to go. Jumping in with both feet isn’t for everyone, but it’s worked for me and forced me to be productive and learn as I go. Anyway, as I said, a lot of good stuff this time around, everyone. I always enjoy your chat’s and look forward to more!
Hey Jim! When I first started drawing again in 2007, the first thing I did was start 1977 the Comic. Took me a year, but I finally got to a point I felt I could start. Been having fun ever since. Yes. Sometimes, you just need to jump into the water. You’ll figure out how to swim real quick.
The great thing about the internet is, we can do what we love and create comics without having to rely on anyone else. And the key thing is as you said, just have fun while you’re doing it 🙂
Thought it wo’dunlt to give it a shot. I was right.
