Solving Webcomic Issues We All Face.

Today’s discussion…

Dawn is feeling creatively drained lately by new activities and responsibilities, coupled with news she finds exhausting and uninspiring.  People say you should channel stress into art, but what if you’re not that kind of person?  Does that make you a bad artist?  Together Robin Childs (LeyLinesComic.com & MokoPress.com), Dawn Griffin (DawnGriffinStudios.com), Chris Flick (CapesNBabes.com), and Byron Wilkins (TR1Studios.com) try to unpack how to stay passionate about making art, but keep perspective in troubling times.

  1. I’m impressed Dawn. I’m buying the New York Times twice a week and am more of aware of current politics than I have ever been. I do feel like it’s my duty to at least be informed. However, my narcissism won’t allow me to give up my creative endeavors to focus on the common good. You on the other hand have jumped into the fray to do work that could truly be important. I tip my hat to you. Great extra commentary from the rest of you. Thanks for podcasting!
