This week’s pick of the week is Company Man by Frank Jordan.
Frank is self described as “Well, let’s see…I’m just a laid back, nice guy (That doesn’t mean doormat!) in Phoenix just trying not to spontaneously combust in the scorching heat of the summers here! You can find me at Toonmanaz@gmail.com feel free to drop me an email sometime. I’m originally from Saint Louis, MO so my favorite Baseball team in the whole world are my St. Louis Cardinals! I love to laugh and make others laugh. I’m also a Cartoonist.”
Company man is updated Monday through Friday and Frank tackles everything toggling between racial and office issues to topical events and pop culture. One of the great things about the CompanyManComic.com website is that it’s very basic and the comic is the star. If you get into the archives, there’s a bonus feature of the character’s bio who appears in that day’s comic. A very cool feature that reminds you of who the character is and their traits.
One of the great things about Frank’s humor is that besides the fact that it’s broad reaching is that he’s not afraid to reach out and hit you in the funny bone – and that’s not a euphemism! You’ll have to hit his site for some of the more outrageous strips.
Company Man get’s topical:
Not having gone through them all, but it looks to be that Frank has over 1200 comics in the archives. If that doesn’t give you hours of LOL-time, I don’t know what will. Make sure you check out his comic –
