Wow, is it already December?!? Time to get in gear for Christmas, what better way to get ourselves in the mood than to visit a site that is just chocked full of Yule tide cheer, Cool Yule Comics. Geroge Broderick, Jr’s tagline for this site is “Why Can’t Everyday be Christmas?” so he has built a site that provides an opportunity for everyday to be, you just have to visit. So what are we waiting for, let’s put on our stocking caps, our mittens and coats and go check out what Cool Yule Comics has in store for us.
Cool Yule provides an assortment of short story comics with a Christmas theme. We get to visit different tales such as Andy Claus, the son of old St. Nick himself, who decides to do a little joy riding instead of following the directions of his dear old dad. Will Christmas be saved with Santa down with the Gout and Andy at the reigns? You’ll have to read to find out.
You’ll also experience such guests along this journey as Greta Poinsetta, who is a huge fan of Christmas Eve, and honestly means the best but can really wear her welcome out pretty quickly. Once Christmas she gets the chance to interview her hero Christmas Eve, but alas pending matters have Eve else where. Will Eve’s friends the plum fairies be able to keep Greta entertained until Eve returns? Will Greta get her interview? Once again, you’ll have to read to find out.
This site is chocked full of fun Christmas themed adventures such as these listed above, with a lot more in store to put a chuckle in your belly, and make it jiggle like a bowl full of jelly. George has created a lot of fun characters and stories for your year long enjoyment. Not only does George have Cool Yule Comics going, but he also has a few other sites as well. You can see some more of George’s work overt at http://www.georgebroderick.com/ and http://www.townburgcity.com/. Also, stop by on Dec 15th as George takes on our “10 Questions for the Pick of the Month” and you can have a chance to learn a little more about him.
Cool Yule Comics is a great way to kick off this Christmas Holiday season. I know I’m thoroughly enjoying these comics and I know you will too. So be nice and go check out the comics today, otherwise I have it on good authority Santa might leave a coal in your stocking.
