POTM: Untold Tales of Bigfoot

Deep in the woods there lurks an elusive creature, well maybe not so much elusive as shy.  Vince Dorse takes us into the Untold Tales of Bigfoot.   We meet up with Bigfoot as the story begins trying to meet new friends, and being turned down at every turn.   Until suddenly he meets a family out camping with their son and his beloved dog.   As with all of Bigfoot’s meet and greets this turns out the same, only this time Scout the family dog is left behind.

After such an event as that you, like dad, would struggle to find your bearing with what you saw and make sense of it.  All the while poor Scout is left behind and once again Bigfoot has lost out on a chance for a friend.  Maybe dad can get some support from the locals, surely they’ve seen strange things in the woods.  Right?

Vince Dorse has created a wonderfully fun family friendly comic that takes us into a different angle of the Bigfoot story.  His art style and story telling makes this one of my favorites from the get go and I urge you to check it out.  The Untold Tales of Bigfoot started in August 2012, so it’s very new so it’ll be easy to catch up with for new readers.  So head on over and make friends with Bigfoot.

As we meet back up with Bigfoot and the now homeless scout we start to see the caring side of Bigfoot.  Even though nothing wants to be his friend he still hasn’t given up.   We watch as he follows Scout and finds ways to take care of him.  We see through this his compassion and we can see that eventually their paths are destined to cross.

So head on over and check out Untold Tales of Bigfoot and keep your eye on Vince Dorse and his wonderful comic.

Be sure to come back on December 17th when we sit down with Vince and shift the spotlight on him as we have him answer our “10 Questions for Creators”.
